All the fun of the fair with Foresight Sports

Foresight Sports, market leader in advanced simulation technology, has updated its industry-leading FSX 2018 software to include a host of new features, including a carnival-style series of mini games.

The new Foresight Fairgrounds feature combines classic fairground fun with short game skills to deliver hours of entertainment for golfers of all abilities as well as offering non-golfers the chance to participate. It includes a Shooting Gallery; Balloon Pop; Splash Wall; and Putt Skee in a digitally-enhanced virtual fairground environment.

Also developed as part of the software update is Inside 6 Feet – an ever-changing and increasingly difficult series of challenges, supported with video tips from Foresight Sports’ staff professionals, which has been designed to improve short game in a relaxed and entertaining format. There are also an array of new functions including a green contour feature and the ability to change stimp, both designed to make green reading easier than ever. Updates to club images and data analysis screens to improve usability complete the comprehensive software update.

The new software updates offer the perfect mix of fun and serious applications for FSX 2018 users, whether that be at home, at the golf club or in the driving range scenario. Users can also enjoy playing the library of world-renowned courses, which now includes ‘The Home of Golf’, St Andrews.

“Following the success of entertainment gaming apps Zombie Golf and Golf Roulette, we’re delighted to build on our collection with the introduction of the highly-entertaining Fairgrounds challenges,” said Edward Doling, Director of Foresight Sports Europe. “What we’re most excited about with Fairgrounds is being able to offer non-golfers a fun experience in a social environment with particular focus on growing the game. We think Foresight Fairgrounds will be a huge hit with families and have a positive impact on junior golf in general.” he added.

As the industry’s data specialist, Foresight Sports continues to deliver powerful data analysis tailor-made for PGA Professionals to take coaching, fitting and gaming experiences to the next level.

The game-changing FSX 2018 platform allows players to experience the most realistic golf simulation ever by playing on some of the best and most exclusive courses, practicing skills on the range or competing in skills-based challenges with players around the world.
