Your Golf Travel further strengthens commercial team in response to growing demand

Your Golf Travel (YGT), the world’s largest golf travel company, has announced three key appointments to its commercial team for 2019: Louise Brian as Head of Events; Tom McCormack as Events Manager; and Zoe Fitz-Costa as Partnerships Manager.

With demand for its ever-expanding range of services continuing to grow rapidly, Your Golf Travel has sought to bolster its commercial team yet further for 2019 with three key appointments, each of whom brings a wealth of vital golf industry experience to the company.

Louise Brian joins as Head of Events, a similar role she undertook at TaylorMade Golf for six years, where she also worked across the adidas and Ashworth brands in project manager and catalogue production manager roles. Louise also spent ten years with Callaway Golf in a consumer relations role, and worked more recently as a senior director at STB Events, a company specialising in corporate and business events, and as a consultant Director at PAR Skincare, official skincare of the European Senior Tour from 2015 to 2017.

“I am thrilled to be joining YGT at such an exciting time,” said Louise Brian in response to her appointment. “My role is to create and deliver the very best customer experiences at golf tournaments such as The US Masters, The Open Championship, the Ryder Cup and the Solheim Cup. It is a fantastic opportunity, and one which I am really looking forward to.”

Tom McCormack joins Your Golf Travel as Events Manager with over ten years golf industry experience across a variety of venues, including a successful spell within the golf department at The Grove, the prestigious Hertfordshire golf resort that remains the only English venue to have hosted a World Golf Championships event.

Zoe Fitz-Costa will take on the role of Partnerships Manager after six years in the golf industry, most recently in the golf talent division at the Wasserman agency, organising LET, European Tour and PGA Tour player logistics. Zoe started out working for the Ladies’ European Tour before moving to European Tour Properties where she gained valuable insight into the operations of some of Your Golf Travel’s key golf break suppliers.

“With the business continuing to grow at pace, we knew we needed to bolster our commercial team in 2019,” said Ben Davis, Head of Commercial at Your Golf Travel. “I am delighted with the calibre of the trio we have been able to appoint. Louise, Tom and Zoe bring a wealth of golf experience to the team and along with new Senior Commercial Manager Darren Bragg, I believe we are better positioned than ever before to help Your Golf Travel go from strength to strength.”

Your Golf Travel has been at the very forefront of the world golf travel market for over a decade now, during which time the company has overseen and co-ordinated bookings and tee-times to over 3,000 destinations in 22 countries worldwide for a phenomenal 200,000 golfers every year.
