Each month GOLF RETAILING reports on the biggest and most relevant latest news covering everything in the UK golf industry from new product launches to key industry appointments, tour results and anything in between . Pictures are especially welcome and should be sent in JPEG format to the editor. We do not encourage hard copy press releases or pictures. Large files and supporting materials should be sent to the address below.
*Please note that most news items printed are in the region of 150-250 words.
Pictures: Hi-Res images are required. Mobile phone images are usable as long as they are sent at full resolution, however, professional camera images are preferred.

Social media is a way of life now and in business can prove a very effective tool. GOLF RETAILING engages the major social media sites such as Twitter & Linked IN to keep in touch with our readers and engage on multiple platforms.
Diary
Please send us details of events you are holding during the year. Where possible we will publish two or three months ahead of the event. Diary events will include exhibitions, seminars, partner events etc. If in doubt send it in anyway!

Please send in details of personnel appointments or changes together with a picture in JPEG format and don’t forget that you post your vacancies for FREE on our websites ‘Jobs’ section.
Supplier Profiles
GOLF RETAILING regularly publishes Supplier profiles. These should include a brief history of the company and basic details such as number of employees and turnover. We are keen to report on how the company has grown and what their plans are for the future. Please report upon partnerships, training and staff development as well as any recent news. Please send pictures in JPEG format together with contact details for editorial follow up.
*As a guide, each profile should be in the region of 1000 words.
Driving Sales
This feature will look at different product categories within the golf retail sector providing new product information but more importantly market intelligence on what is selling. We will highlight manufacturer market shares figures and industry opinion on how retailers can increase their sales of the featured product.
Behind the Counter:
The retailer is our primary audience and so every month we talk with one of our readers about their career highlights, how they are developing their business and what wisdom they can share with their peers.
From the Tee:
From the Tee is a monthly interview with the strategic thinkers in the Golf sector. Interviews focus on the wider issues and challenges in the industry, and how the interviewee’s business is working within these areas. If you would like to take part, please contact the editorial team.
Opinion Pieces:
These are keenly sought and should be market observations by all elements of our readership from PGA pro’s, industry suppliers, industry associations and anyone working within the UK Golf industry. Controversy is welcome but being thought-provoking is key to getting publication. A picture of the author in JPEG format is essential.
As a guide, each opinion piece should be in the region of 750 to 1500 words. If you are seeking to submit the larger text piece it is advisable to talk the subject over with the editorial team in order to agree the merit of the subject.
