AG for the BGIA

American Golf has become an associate member of The British Golf Industry Association (BGIA). The BGIA is the lead trade body representing UK manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors of golf products and services, while American Golf has 103 stores and is the UK’s largest employer of PGA Professionals.

Daniel Gathercole (pictured), head of marketing at American Golf said, “American Golf is committed to becoming more actively involved in developing the game. This means positioning ourselves at the heart of golf and working with key organisations such as the BGIA. It is in everyone’s best interests to work together to reach new golfers and to revitalise the game. It is a big challenge, but one that we are very much looking forward to being part of.”

Nigel Freemantle, BGIA Chairman said, “Having American Golf as part of the BGIA will help us better reflect the views of the entire industry and unite together to grow the game of golf. We look forward to working closely with our latest member.”
