TOPTRACER ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF THE 153RD OPEN VENUE, ROYAL PORTRUSH, TO GAMEPLAY

Toptracer, the world’s number one range technology and official ball tracking technology supplier of The Open, announces the site of the 2025 Championship, Royal Portrush, is now available on its platform at golf ranges around the world.

Royal Portrush, widely considered one of the best courses in the world, will draw attention from all sports fans when it hosts golf’s original championship in July. Now, golfers will have the chance to play the entire layout virtually and test their skills against the best players in the world later this summer.

“It’s a privilege to offer the host venue of The 153rd Open and one of the most heralded and unique layouts in the world to our golf community,” says Scott Blevins, general manager of Toptracer. “We believe that every golfer—no matter where they are in the world—should have the chance to experience this iconic venue to take their own part in this major championship.”

From July 14 – 20, a Global Challenge will be hosted by Toptracer when anyone plays Royal Portrush at any of their partner ranges for a chance to win prizes.

“Royal Portrush is one of the finest links courses in the world and its layout will test the skills of every golfer teeing it up virtually using Toptracer technology, both near and far”, said Henry Keeling, Director of Commercial Partnerships at The R&A. “We look forward to seeing which players emerge from the Global Challenge to win some great prizes.”
