J.LINDEBERG AMBASSADOR VIKTOR HOVLAND CLAIMS EIGHTH PGA TOUR WIN

Longtime J.LINDEBERG ambassador Viktor Hovland claimed his eighth PGA Tour title by edging out the No.1 player in the world in a Monday morning sudden-death playoff at The Travelers Championship.

Hovland, who has been wearing the Scandinavian apparel brand that bridges high-performance golf wear with premium fashion since 2019, birdied the first playoff hole to capture victory in Connecticut. Hovland’s winning moment came in the Heath Polo, a lightweight, breathable golf shirt allowing comfort and ease of movement for active play.

Throughout the week, Hovland utilized JL’s full arsenal of fashionable and functional golf shirts, the Tucker Polo on Thursday; the Viggo Polo for a round of nine-under, 61 on Friday; the Bala Print Polo for Moving Day; and the Tour Tech Print Polo that held up through the elements on a dramatic Sunday evening. Hovland also sported the reliable Mitch Pant in three colors across the first three rounds, followed by the white Ellott Pant on Sunday.

This win comes right on the heels of J.Lindeberg’s 30-year anniversary celebration, which included a capsule collection honoring the brand’s first ambassador, Jesper Parnevik, worn by Hovland and fellow ambassador Niklas Nørgaard at the 126th U.S. Open.

“It’s been an incredible month of celebration at J.Lindeberg, capped off with an amazing win for Viktor and team JL,” says Neil Lewty, the brand’s Chief Creative Officer. “Viktor is the epitome of what it means to be a J.Lindeberg ambassador – performing at the highest level with confidence and comfort in his game and apparel. We’re so happy for him and look forward to even more success in the future.”
