The road to Morocco starts at Slaley Hall

The northern regional final of the Morocco Matchplay, powered by HowDidiDo, will be played at De Vere Slaley Hall, in Northumberland on 7 and 8 October. Golfers from across Scotland and the north of England compete in four categories (singles, pairs, mixed pairs and senior pairs) to win places in the grand final next February in Morocco.

Each finalist will receive complimentary flights to Morocco, six nights’ luxury accommodation and five rounds of championship golf. Entries to the Morocco Matchplay, powered by HowDidiDo, which is open to both men and women, must be completed by 25 May. Seniors need to be aged 50 or over on the same date.

Slaley Hall’s golf sales manager, Jeff Mills, said, “We are proud to be able to host the northern regional final of the Morocco Matchplay, powered by HowDidiDo. It is one of the premier amateur matchplay events in country and is renowned for the quality of its golf. We believe that in the Hunting course they will find a stern, yet fair, challenge – and they can rest assured that, if they win through to the grand final in Morocco, they will have earned their trip.”
