Jason Dufner, followed his course record 7-under-par 63 in Friday’s second round to win the 95th PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club with the help of a SuperStroke 3.0 jumbo putter grip . With a 10 under score of 270 the laid back American posted the lowest score at Oak Hill in the past 5 majors held at the course.
With this win Dufner has practically guaranteed his place in The Presidents Cup with the rankings deadline just weeks away. He is now placed 14th in the FedEX Cup Standings and 8th in the PGA World Rankings.
“To win here at Oak Hill Country Club, PGA Championship, it’s great,” Dufner said. “You know, puts me in a great position for the Playoffs coming up in a couple weeks.”
