Stewart Golf Report Record Sales Growth

Premium golf trolley brand Stewart Golf has reported record 61% growth in the United States for 2023 amid ongoing overall growth. UK sales grew strongly by 12%, with demand for the company’s remote control and follow technology showing no signs of slowing down.

2023 saw the launch of the VERTX Remote, which has sold at more than double the rate of its Q Remote predecessor. Combining proprietary Active Terrain Control (ATC) technology with a patented chassis design, the VERTX has been lauded for its exceptional on-course performance, particularly across steep and undulating ground. Today’s Golfer described the VERTX as ‘the ultimate remote-controlled machine’ when featuring it in its Editor’s Choice awards.

In March 2023, Stewart Golf established a US Customer Care facility in Houston, Texas with a full-time team dedicated to providing first class service to American golfers. The US facility has already earned an ‘Excellent’ Trustpilot rating from US consumers, mirroring that of the UK team which it works closely with on a daily basis.

Increasing numbers of US media are featuring Stewart machines. Jason Deegan of GolfPass tested the Q Follow at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, and said, “I was walking – hands free – on a major championship golf course with my clubs on the Q Follow tracing my every step. I couldn’t stop smiling… The Q Follow is the coolest golf thing you’ll likely ever own”.

International exports remain a huge part of the business, with 58% of revenue being generated outside the UK. Stewart Golf has been awarded ‘Export Champion’ status by the UK Government in recognition of its status as a British manufacturer that has success internationally. From Sweden to South Africa, Canada to the Czech Republic and the UAE to the USA, golfers in 24 countries purchased Stewart Golf machines during 2023.

CEO Mark Stewart said, “We’re committed to building the world’s best walking golf trolleys, and so happy that golfers all over the planet are enjoying walking the course with our machines. To have posted such strong results in a challenging year for the industry is testament to the hard work of the whole team at our UK & US facilities, and our network of partners across the world.”
