Developed through extensive player feedback and engineering expertise, the RR Forged Wedges introduce advanced sole concepts and precision forging technology for improved playability and control. Each wedge is individually designed using 3D CAD to optimise centre of gravity placement, enhancing versatility and feel for a wide range of short-game shots.

Precision Forged for Performance

Forged from premium soft carbon steel, the RR Forged Wedges undergo an advanced heat treatment process to achieve a pure, solid feel at impact while eliminating unwanted vibrations.

To optimise spin control, each face features two laser-milled textures, diagonal and horizontal, combined with precision-engineered grooves. This maximises spin retention, even in wet conditions, and ensures consistent performance from full shots to delicate chips.

Three Advanced Sole Options

PROTOCONCEPT has engineered three distinct sole designs to suit modern wedge play and different swing profiles:

• NT (Neutral Sole) – Available in 46°–58°, this versatile sole offers consistent turf interaction and forgiveness from various lies, featuring a chamfered leading edge and clean trailing edge for smooth entry and exit.
• AG (Aggressive Sole) – Available in 56°–60°, tailored for players with a steeper angle of attack. It incorporates an advanced weight distribution system to stabilise the face and minimise rotation, ensuring precise shot execution.
  
• SP (Sweeper Sole) – Available in 56°–60°, ideal for players with a shallow angle of attack. This sole enhances bounce performance and ensures clean turf interaction for consistent impact.
