Daniel Gavins, an Oscar Jacobson Ambassador, claimed his second victory on the DP World Tour with a win at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship. Gavins started the 18th with a 3-shot lead, before a dramatic double bogey saw him claim a 1-shot victory after sinking an incredible 25-foot putt to secure top spot.
However, it was the work in the early part of the round that put Gavins in pole position with six birdies on the front nine which saw him card a final round 69.
Graeme Stevens, Managing Director of Worldwide Golf Brands, is delighted to see Gavins claim his first victory of the season, “Daniel is a fantastic player, and is having a great career on the DP World Tour. To win once on tour is hard enough, never mind twice.
We’re immensely proud that he’s managed to secure his second win on tour after winning the ISPS Handa World Invitational back in 2021.
He is always working hard on his game to get better every week and he is seeing the rewards of all the hard work and dedication.
He is a fantastic ambassador for Oscar Jacobson and we can’t wait to watch his season and career progress from here.”
