Oli Fisher joins Callaway staff

Callaway has announced the signing of England’s Oli Fisher to its team of Staff Professionals competing on the PGA European Tour.

‘Mr 59’, Oli is the only player ever to shoot 59 in a competitive round on the European Tour, writing himself into the history books at the 2018 Portugal Masters with a blemish-free round containing an incredible 10 birdies and an eagle.

Londoner Oli enjoyed a stellar amateur career, winning the Faldo Series, the McGregor Trophy and the St Andrews Links Trophy, and was the youngest ever Walker Cup player in 2005.

He qualified for the PGA European Tour while still an amateur in 2006, becoming the youngest Briton to win a Tour card. Oli went on to win his first title at the 2011 Czech Open.

Peter Harrison, Director of Tour Relations, Callaway Golf EMEA, added: “It is fantastic to welcome Oli to the team, and it will be exciting to watch what he can achieve with the support of both the team and products at Callaway over the coming months.”

Oli has started the 2020 season with the following products in his bag:

Driver: Callaway MAVRIK Sub Zero 9°, Aldila, Rogue 130 Silver 70-X shaft

Fairways: Callaway MAVRIK 13.5°; MAVRIK Sub Zero 18°

Irons: Callaway Apex MB 4-9

Wedges: Callaway JAWS MD5 46°, 52°, 56°, 60°
