UPSWING ADDS GALAXY GIRLS JUNIOR SETS

UpSwing Golf has expanded its Grow Like A Pro™ junior offering with the launch of the new Galaxy Girls Golf Sets, providing retailers with a dedicated premium equipment option designed specifically for young female golfers.

The new range builds on the success of UpSwing’s existing boys’ sets and has been developed to deliver improved fit and performance for junior girls. A key difference is the use of shafts that are 0.5 inches shorter than those found in the equivalent boys’ models, helping provide greater control and consistency for developing players.

Kick points have also been adjusted to complement the shorter shaft lengths, ensuring launch characteristics and feel remain consistent throughout the range.

The Galaxy line forms part of UpSwing’s patented UpTech™ platform, which allows clubs to grow alongside the player. Rather than replacing complete sets as children develop, golfers can upgrade shafts and extend club lengths to maintain the correct fit while reducing long-term equipment costs for families.

Each set incorporates two patented technologies, the Hosel Adaptor and Global Mass Property System, which progressively move the clubhead’s centre of gravity from the heel towards the sweet spot as players grow. The company says this helps young golfers release the club more naturally and improve consistency.

The clubs feature lightweight UST Mamiya graphite shafts, perimeter weighting and an optimised centre of gravity to enhance forgiveness and playability, while a PVD finish provides added durability.

UpSwing Golf was founded by golf industry professionals Justin Giles and Kevin Mayoux to address one of junior golf’s biggest challenges, with many young players quickly outgrowing their equipment and forcing parents to purchase replacement sets every few years.

The Galaxy range is available in three configurations:

  • 4-Club Galaxy Junior Set – £449 RRP
  • 7-Club Galaxy Junior Varsity Set – £649 RRP
  • 11-Club Galaxy Varsity Set – £899 RRP

Upgrade kits and additional shafts are also available, allowing golfers to move up in size without replacing an entire set.
