Motocaddy wins clean sweep in consumer magazine awards

Motocaddy has reflected its popularity in the electric trolley and cart bag market by winning a number of accolades from two of the UK’s most popular golfing publications.

Both Golf Monthly and Today’s Golfer have credited Motocaddy across the electric trolley; push trolley and cart bag categories in its influential editorial and readers awards.

In Golf Monthly’s inaugural ‘Editor’s Choice’ awards, Motocaddy was ever-present across all three categories with the revolutionary S5 CONNECT being nominated as the leading electric trolley, along with the innovative CUBE CONNECT in the push trolley awards. The feature-packed, premium Pro-Series bag was chosen in the cart bag category.

Explaining the criteria for selection, editor Michael Harris said: “We were first and foremost looking for creativity – products that overcame challenges in a unique way and made us take a step back and think ‘what a great idea’…the items featured move the needle in their respective categories.”

Motocaddy also found similar success in the revamped Today’s Golfer’s awards with no fewer than five products gaining the much sought after Gold Award.

The brand took first and second place in the ‘Reader’s Choice Award’ electric trolley category with the S5 CONNECT (1st) and the S1 (2nd) taking a third of the votes combined. The 100% waterproof Dry-Series bag was also chosen by the magazine’s readers as the number one trolley bag on the market with over 20% of the votes in a shortlist of 12 competitors.

“The S5 CONNECT is at the forefront of golf technology and the Motocaddy Dry-Series bag has everything a golfer needs on the course, so I’m not surprised that the knowledgeable TG readers picked them as winners,” said editor Chris Jones.

In Today’s Golfer influential ‘Editor’s Choice’ awards, the new compact-folding M5 CONNECT ‘Smart Cart’ was a big winner in the powered trolley category, while both the CUBE CONNECT and P360 push trolleys were also picked for a Gold Award. Reflecting its popularity with golfers, the Dry-Series picked up a double award in the cart bag section with an Editor’s Choice Gold Award following the reader’s pick.

“We pass on our thanks to both Golf Monthly and Today’s Golfer, plus all the readers who voted for our trolleys and bags as their favourite products,” said Motocaddy Chairman, David Wells. “As a brand we’ll continue to innovate and produce products that provide golfers with the choice of features they want to enhance their game,” he added.

Motocaddy’s strong showing within the awards highlights the constant ambition to produce the highest quality trolleys and bags available on the market. The brand has experienced sustained success over a number of years
