Hole More Putts to launch two trade products

HOLE MORE PUTTS the ultimate high tech, portable solution to getting the ball in the hole will be launching two new products at the US PGA Merchandise Show later this month.

Product & Marketing Director, Robert Slade-Baker said “2017 was an incredible year. One of getting the original HOLE MORE PUTTS unit onto the global stage at the same time as developing not one, but two new products for 2018. We’re incredibly excited to have both new products on show in January at the US PGA Merchandise Show. If response to the new products is anywhere near what we saw at last year’s show we’re in for a busy time”.

Having successfully launched a consumer-facing product in 2016 the team have turned their attention to the PGA Coach and golf retailers.

HMP C1 – is aimed at the PGA Pro who is actively giving putting lessons and has a number of students on the books.  HMP C1 enables the tutor to create unlimited user profiles allowing them fast, easy access to any student profile at any time.

PGA Pro’s that already own a unit won’t miss out either. Robert said “We felt it only right that PGA Pros who have already invested in a unit of their own should receive an automatic, complimentary upgrade of the coaching software. They have been our early adopters and we certainly don’t want to see them miss out as we develop the HOLE MORE PUTTS™ technology.”

A working demo unit will be on the stand (#1219) and PGA Pro’s attending the show are encouraged to visit and see the software in action for themselves where there will be a special promotional offer available to them for the duration of the show.

PutterFit – with a smart new black look, is a high-tech way for retailers to help customers select the putter that suits them best. And it’s easy to use.

After just a few putts, PutterFit calculates a PutterFit Index – a measure of the suitability of the putter to the golfer. The more suitable the putter is to achieving a square face and a consistently centered strike, the higher the PutterFit Index will be.

The process is based on 4 key measurements:

  1. Face Angle – is the face open or closed at impact
  2. Strike – where on the face the ball leaves the putter
  3. Club Head Rotation – on the putting path
  4. Path – the player’s natural putting path

Robert commented “PutterFit is the most comprehensive unit in the range providing the retailer with complete control over the putter sales process. Sometimes combining an element of teaching in the selection process helps narrow down which products ought to be considered in the final choice.

We’ve seen time and again golfers using the wrong style of putter, wrong length or perhaps the wrong sized grip but just a few minutes spent going through the process with PutterFit can completely change a golfer’s approach to getting the right putter. For the retailer, it’s a simple way to ensure that the stock they carry is presented in its entirety to the golfer enabling them to make the best possible choice.”

PGA Pro’s will have the opportunity to order PutterFit as well as HMP C1 at the show.
