Brand ambassador and Major winner Cameron Smith hosted a number of key Original Penguin® Golf customers at The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Warwickshire to celebrate an #OriginalGoodTime and mark an important milestone year for the iconic brand.
Commercial customers from across Europe relished in Smith’s memories and insights from his win at the 150th Open, and enjoyed a competitive game of golf on the critically-acclaimed Brabazon Ryder Cup course, putting their golfing skills to the test alongside the 2022 Champion Golfer of the Year.
Helen Willsmer, Brand Director of Original Penguin Golf, said: “We wanted to underline our commitment to our valued customer base whose continued support, passion and dedication has helped our brand gain further momentum and growth over the past few years.
“We are immensely grateful to our customers for their trust in Original Penguin Golf. Events like these remind us of the strong community and partnerships we’ve built together and motivate us to strive for more success.”
She added: “It was evident that everyone left with incredible memories of a truly intimate experience spent playing golf with 2022 Open Champion Cameron Smith.”
Ash Airton of TRENDYGOLF took first place in the stableford format with a total of 33 points, while Nico Furhmann, Perry Ellis Continental European Sales Manager, secured the ‘Nearest to the Pin’ award on the day. The longest drive prize went to none other than the Aussie superstar himself, Cameron Smith.
