Nike Golf is opening a Nike Performance Fitting Centre at Archerfield Links on 7 July just ahead of the Scottish Open. Nike says the new facility will allow golfers to experience the very best in golf club fitting, as well as offering them access to Archerfield’s elite coaching panel that includes former Ryder Cup player Andrew Coltart and leading European Tour coach Gary Nicol.
Golfers will be offered a range of packages tailored to their needs, including the ultimate three day stay at the club providing full club and ball fitting, game-assessment, physical fitness consultation and a playing lesson on either the Fidra or Dirleton Links. The experience will include on-course coaching and a full bag fitting using the latest technology. Personalised, specially built clubs will be delivered to the club in time for a playing lesson during their stay. Golfers will also have a distance mapping session, whilst being shown how to use the Nike Golf NG360 app which allows players to track their progress on the course, as well as offer tips on game-improvement.
Angus Moir, general manager of Nike Golf, EMEA stated, “Nike Golf has deliberately taken some time to decide where we open our first location in the EMEA market that offers the consumer an experience that no other brand is able to deliver. At Archerfield Links we found a partner with similar values and ambition levels as Nike Golf as well as a facility that is second to none in a truly authentic location on Scotland’s Golf Coast.”
