Worldwide Golf Brands Appoints Medi8 Golf

Worldwide Golf Brands (WWGB), one of the U.K.’s leading independent golf distributors, has appointed specialist golf marketing agency Medi8 Golf to co-ordinate the marketing of its growing portfolio of brands. Medi8 Golf will take on responsibility for the P.R., Marketing and Advertising for WWGB’s existing brand portfolio of Oscar Jacobson, Stuburt and MacGregor, plus newly acquired brands BIG MAX and ZOOM.

“The opportunity to work across such a high quality, wide ranging portfolio is a really exciting prospect,” commented owner of Medi8 Golf, Nicole Wheatley. “We have the experience of working with BIG MAX and ZOOM for a number of years, so are delighted that WWGB has chosen to continue that relationship and trust us to help drive the continued growth of MacGregor, Oscar Jacobson and Stuburt.”

The appointment of Medi8 comes just a week after the announcement that WWGB had added the U.K. & Ireland distribution rights for Europe’s #1 golf bag and push trolley brand BIG MAX, and innovative Laser rangefinder and glove brand ZOOM.  This move coincides with the company’s move to a purpose built 120,000 sq ft office and warehouse just outside of Manchester and over £1 million of investment in the business infrastructure.

Upon the appointment of Medi8 Golf, owner of WWGB Graeme Stevens said, “This is an exciting time for our business and I believe Medi8 Golf are the right partner to help elevate our brands and increase their visibility across the European golf market. I’ve been very impressed with the work Nicole and David have done for BIG MAX and ZOOM and look forward to working with them across our whole portfolio.”

Medi8 Golf will take over all media relations, marketing and advertising activity for WWGB effective immediately. Any enquiries about BIG MAX, MacGregor, Oscar Jacobson, Stuburt or ZOOM should be directed to nicole@medi8ltd.co.uk or david@medi8ltd.co.uk
