Fujikura Ventus

Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honoured to be the #1 driver and wood shaft for both PGA Tour events last week, along with the #1 driver shaft spot at the first LPGA Tour Major of the season. In total, all three winners at these events used a Fujikura driver and/or wood shaft on their way to victory.

At the RBC Heritage on the PGA Tour, Fujikura dominated the field as the #1 driver and wood shaft. In total, 43.5% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft during the week, with another 37.6% using a Fujikura wood shaft.

These statistics included the eventual winner in South Carolina, who followed up his successful Major week with another victory using VENTUS. Grabbing his fourth victory from his last five events, the tournament winner used a VENTUS Black 7-X in his driver, VENTUS Black 8-X in his fairway wood.


On the LPGA Tour, at the first Major of the year, Fujikura was the #1 driver shaft at the Chevron Championship. In total, 35.6% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft during the week. The eventual winner in Texas used the VENTUS Red 7-S in her 3-wood, VENTUS Black 7-S in her 7-wood and VENTUS Blue 7-S in her hybrid. Setting a record for consecutive LPGA Tour wins, all five of her recent victories have featured Fujikura wood shafts.

At the Corales Puntacana Championship, it was another #1 spot and tournament victory for Fujikura. In total, 37.3% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 31.8% in the wood shaft count and 23.1% in the hybrid shaft count. The eventual winner in the Dominican Republic used a VENTUS TR Black 6-X in his driver on his way to victory.

During the 2024 PGA Tour season, Fujikura has been involved in 10 PGA Tour victories, for players using a Fujikura driver and/or wood shaft. As it currently stands, Fujikura’s driver shaft win percentage on the PGA Tour is at 55.5%.
