Sunice expect a ‘bright’ start in 2014

According to the latest pr from the team at Sunice 2014 heralds a fresh new approach to their golf clothing design .  They say that whilst the fabrics are familiar, around ninety percent of the garments in the range are either brand new or have been completely revamped.  They say that “the result is a collection that unites colour and style”.

The men’s outerwear pallet is described as ‘Brooks Brothers with flare’.  Classic masculine menswear tones have been infused with pops of neon to give familiar garments an edgy, yet wearable, look.  The Langford FlexVent™ Jacket is according to the company is a perfect example.  Offered in traditional base colours of Charcoal, Blue or Black, each is ingeniously refreshed with bright orange, neon yellow and reflective silver trims respectively.

Sunice believe that a welcome return of the Hurricane category is the EDGE collection.  Thier press statement read that this range was so popular in its launch season that it sold out in Europe.  With a range of slim fit products using GORE-TEX® and WINDSTOPPER® products throughout they believe that this new collection is set to move just as quickly.

Sunice believe that the ladies outerwear collection exudes Girl Power!  They say “Gone are neutral, pastel tones.  Colourways are bold and highly patterned and encourage the wearer to stand out in the crowd”.  Continuing,”The colour blocking and highlights are aesthetically inspired and playful layering will allow ladies to create unique looks that also create the perfect comfortable environment to enjoy golf in any weather”.

The Sunice Silver apparel range for SS14 has also had a smart design make-over.  In men’s there is a more ‘menswear’ approach including the introduction of to prints and patterns that are a complete departure from the golf plaids of previous seasons.  The polo colourways all merchandise back into the outerwear collections and have the same pops of colour that work so well in the outerwear and performance layering collections.

The PR states that “Athletic couture was the inspiration for the ladies 2014 collection.  The Sunice designers looked at high fashion and determined how their techniques and applications could be adapted to a golfing context.  The result is modernised, sporty cuts which remain feminine thanks to ruching, oversize collars, metallion trims and the introduction of base ball mesh for pops of colour.  Classic geometric prints have been given a clever twist to create fluid patterns that any lady golfer would be delighted to sport on the course”.
