Srixon has unveiled its new ZXi RKT woods family, comprising three drivers alongside fairway woods and hybrids.

The range introduces RKT Face, a system combining a new silicon-enhanced VR-Titanium alloy with an updated i-FLEX face structure. Srixon says the combination increases face and body flexibility to produce more efficient energy transfer across a wider impact area.
Variable Roll Design has been used to improve performance from off-centre strikes, while the company’s Rebound Frame construction uses two flex zones to support ball speed and distance.
“Throughout testing, one of the most consistent themes we heard from players was the desire for more speed across a larger area of the face without giving up consistency,” said Patrick Ripp, Tour Engineering Manager at Srixon.
“RKT Face was developed to answer that challenge. By combining several technologies into a single performance system, we were able to create a face that not only produces exceptional ball speed but does so more consistently across a wider range of impact locations.”
Sound was another focus during development. The new ACOUSTICORE chassis combines AI-optimised internal rib structures with a lightweight carbon-fibre crown to tune the impact sound of each model.
The clubs were developed through two years of prototype testing with Srixon’s Tour staff. Face depth, crown height, address profile, face angle and lie angle were adjusted following player feedback, while a redesigned laser face-milling pattern is intended to improve alignment and provide more consistent spin in difficult conditions.
Three driver models provide different fitting options:

- ZXi RKT LS uses a low-spin profile and adjustable front-to-back weighting for faster, more aggressive players.

The new woods line-up uses RKT Face, Variable Roll Design and Rebound Frame technologies. - ZXi RKT combines speed, forgiveness and workability with adjustable heel-toe weighting for shot-shape and trajectory control.

- ZXi RKT MAX is Srixon’s highest-MOI driver to date and is designed to provide additional stability and forgiveness.

ZXi RKT fairway woods and hybrids use the same RKT Face architecture. Adjustable sole weights and adjustable hosel sleeves allow fitters to alter launch conditions, swing weight and distance gapping.

The ZXi RKT, ZXi RKT LS and ZXi RKT MAX drivers carry an RRP of £569. Fairway woods are priced at £339, with hybrids at £289.
Pre-sale begins on October 2 ahead of the official retail launch on October 16.
For retailers and fitters, the three driver profiles and expanded adjustability across the fairway wood and hybrid ranges provide a broad fitting story across the entire top end of the bag, while the changes to the construction help them stand out in a crowded market.
