Scotty Cameron has introduced two limited-edition Phantom OC Spec III putters, adding all-black specifications to its low-torque Phantom 5 and Phantom 11R OC designs.
The Onset Centre construction positions the shaft behind the putter head’s leading edge and in line with its centre of gravity. The design is intended to minimise torque, reduce face rotation and promote a square-to-the-path delivery while retaining feedback during the stroke.
Both Spec III models feature a durable, glare-resistant black PVD finish, three high-contrast sightlines, a black steel shaft and a custom black mid-size Matador grip.

The compact Phantom 5 OC Spec III uses a modern wingback head shape and incorporates a full-face Studio Carbon Steel insert with chain-link milling. The construction is designed to produce a softer sound and feel at impact.
The Phantom 11R OC Spec III has a rounded, high-MOI mallet profile. It uses a full-face chain-link milling pattern to provide responsive feedback and is also available in a left-handed configuration.
To help preserve feel within the low-torque design, the OC models use heads that are 15g heavier alongside a slightly stiffer shaft. Both putters have 3.5 degrees of loft, a 70-degree lie angle and one degree of shaft lean, with lengths across the range comprising 33, 34 and 35 inches.

For retailers, the contrasting alignment system, black specification and limited availability provide a distinct premium product story within the growing low-torque putter category.
The Scotty Cameron Phantom OC Spec III putters carry an SRP of £729 and began arriving in golf shops in limited quantities on September 24.
