Special birthday present for Bishops Stortford GC golfer

Ian Foster celebrates his sixtieth birthday in October and was the lucky winner of a Vokey wedge fitting at the prestigious Wentworth club, in a competition organised by HowDidiDo.com. The competition was free-to-enter on the website and Foster, who is managing director of his family’s customised clothing company, was lucky enough to be selected from among several thousand entries. He chose to forego his club championship in order to attend the fitting and he didn’t regret it for a moment.

Following the fitting Foster, the scratch team captain at Bishops Stortford GC, will receive three Vokey wedges and a Scotty Cameron GoLo 5 putter individually produced and customised with Foster’s name, in California.

The HowDidiDo golfing community holds in excess of 21 million rounds of golf along with the handicaps, results and scores of more than 1,300,000 UK golf club members. Around 2,000 golf clubs currently use the HowDidiDo system, allowing members to analyse their game and compare performance with other players at their own club or across the entire HowDidiDo network. It is also used for official CONGU handicapping and competition results and more than 400,000 golfers currently use the HowDidiDo website.

Foster commented, “I had a couple of hours with a couple of guys fitting wedges. The whole day was special – a one-off experience. So, thanks to HowDidiDo for such a fantastic experience.”
