PUMA Golf has announced a multi-year partnership with celebrated PGA Tour professional Gary Woodland that will see him wearing PUMA Golf apparel, footwear and accessories on the course. Woodland will wear pieces from the brand’s Volition America Collection, a patriotic ensemble of products, to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Volition America supports the families of our military heroes through the Folds of Honor Foundation.

“PUMA prides itself in not only aligning with stellar golfers and athletes, but great people as well. To that end, Gary is a wonderful addition to our Tour Team, and the perfect ambassador to lead our Volition America Collection on course,” said Dan Ladd, Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing, COBRA PUMA GOLF. “We’re excited to have him on the team and are looking forward to seeing him continue to play great in patriotic style.”

Woodland attended the University of Kansas on a golf scholarship, winning four tournaments as an amateur. Since he turned professional in 2007, Woodland has captured three PGA Tour wins, first one at the Transitions Championship in 2011, the Reno-Tahoe Open in 2013 and most recently, the Waste Management Open in 2018. He kicked off the 2019 season with a runner up finish at The Sentry Tournament of Champions at the Plantation Course in Hawaii, and is currently the #24 ranked player in the world.

“My grandfather was in the military, and I’ve been part of the Folds of Honor Foundation since 2009, so having the opportunity to wear PUMA’s Volition America collection is the perfect fit for me. I’m proud to support the Folds of Honor and the brave men and women who serve,” said Woodland. “I’m excited to partner with PUMA, such a great athletic brand, helping me look and feel good on and off course.”

The Volition America Golf Collection, which first launched in 2017, marries the best of PUMA Golf’s cutting-edge apparel and footwear technologies and styles with Volition America’s focus on patriotism and all things, red, white and blue. The collection supports Folds of Honor, helping to fund educational scholarships for families of fallen and critically-injured military men and women.

Woodland will also be wearing PUMA’s celebrated IGNITE PWRADAPT Leather footwear, with Tour proven style, comfort and stability. The shoes offer sophisticated style thanks to a premium leather upper, an excellent fit with a mesh hybrid bootie lining, and extreme comfort thanks to IGNITE foam. Revolutionary and proprietary PWRADAPT Technology provides extreme traction, support and comfort.
