PRIDESPORTS LAUNCHES SIMULATOR GOLF TEE

PrideSports has launched the Pride Performance Simulator Tee, a purpose-built product for golfers using indoor simulators and launch-monitor systems.

Designed to remove the tee as a potential variable during indoor practice, the product uses the company’s Ball-First Technology. Its flat leading edge is intended to help the club make contact with the ball before reaching the tee.

This is combined with a low-resistance head designed to reduce friction through impact. PrideSports says the design can help limit unwanted spin and produce more consistent launch conditions, giving golfers greater confidence in the data generated by their simulator or launch monitor.

The tee is manufactured from TPU and is designed for repeated use. PrideSports also describes it as screen-safe, helping to protect simulator impact screens during play and practice.

“Golfers spend thousands of pounds on launch monitors and simulator technology, but often overlook the tee they’re hitting from,” said Joe Henderson, President of PrideSports.

“We designed the Pride Performance Simulator Tee to ensure the tee isn’t influencing the strike or the data, giving golfers greater confidence that the numbers they see are a true reflection of their swing.”

Each retail pack contains seven tees, with heights ranging from approximately 13mm to 51mm – equivalent to half an inch through to two inches. The range allows golfers to alter the tee height for different clubs, swings and simulator configurations.

The Pride Performance Simulator Tee is available in red or white, with a mesh carry pouch included in every pack.

Priced at £10.95 per pack, the product gives golf retailers, teaching professionals and indoor golf facilities an additional accessory to offer customers using increasingly sophisticated simulator and launch-monitor equipment.

The Pride Performance Simulator Tee is available to purchase through Golf Tees.
