Major moment for Matsuyama as he becomes Japan’s first ever mens major champion

SRIXON has congratulated staff player, Hideki Matsuyama on a historic victory at The Masters which saw him, not only capture a first Major title and the coveted Green Jacket, but also become the first male golfer from Japan to win a Major Championship.

With this historic victory at Augusta National, Matsuyama has now recorded 15 worldwide victories, including 6 career wins on the PGA TOUR. The win also marks the first major victory for the new Srixon ZX Driver, with Matsuyama using the ZX5 model to power his way to an inspirational victory over the weekend with some superlative golf.

With the suspension of The Open in 2020, Srixon now has two of the four current Major Champions in staff players, Matsuyama and Shane Lowry.
