MACGREGOR MACTEC X METAL WOODS DELIVER DISTANCE, FORGIVENESS AND VALUE

MacGregor Golf has unveiled its new MacTec X metal wood range, introducing a Driver, Fairway Woods and Hybrids engineered to deliver impressive distance, forgiveness and playability at an exceptional price.

Designed for golfers seeking easy launch and dependable long-game performance, the new range combines proven game-improvement technology with premium components to inspire confidence from the tee, fairway and rough.

MacTec X Driver
Combining modern technology with a clean, confidence-inspiring profile, the MacTec X Driver has been engineered to deliver powerful, consistent performance from the tee. The forged 6AL-4V titanium head provides exceptional strength while remaining lightweight, helping golfers generate faster clubhead speeds and increased ball speed for longer drives.
A low, deep centre of gravity promotes easy launch and greater stability through impact, while balanced mid-launch and mid-spin characteristics produce a strong, penetrating ball flight. A conventional face progression gives the club a classic appearance at address, encouraging confidence over every drive.
Available in 9°, 10.5° and 12° lofts, the MacTec X Driver is fitted with a premium UST DHI DRVR graphite shaft and MacGregor soft compound grip. Finished with a sleek black crown accented by subtle green and silver detailing, each driver is supplied with a matching premium headcover. MacTec X Driver has an RRP: £149.99.

MacTec X Fairway Woods
The MacTec X Fairway Woods deliver reliable distance, control and versatility, making them equally effective from the tee, fairway or light rough.
Manufactured from durable 17-4 stainless steel, each fairway wood features a sleek black finish with contemporary MacTec X detailing. A conventional face progression provides a familiar look at address, while the back-weighted centre of gravity promotes stability and effortless launch.
Balanced mid-MOI, mid-spin and mid-launch characteristics combine to produce a forgiving, consistent ball flight, helping golfers attack longer shots with greater confidence.
Available in #3 (15°), #5 (19°), #7 (23°) and #9 (27°), the range allows golfers to fine-tune distance gapping at the top end of the bag. Every fairway wood is supplied with a matching premium headcover and have an RRP: £119.99

MacTec X Hybrids
Completing the MacTec X metalwood family, the MacTec X Hybrids offer the ideal blend of distance, control and versatility. Combining the distance of a fairway wood with the precision and playability of an iron, they provide an easy-to-hit replacement for traditional long irons.
Manufactured from durable 17-4 stainless steel, each hybrid features a conventional face progression and a back-weighted centre of gravity to promote a stable mid-launch, mid-spin ball flight. The forgiving head design delivers consistent performance from the fairway, rough or tee.
Available in three loft options—#3 (19°), #5 (21°) and #7 (25°)—the hybrids help golfers bridge the gap between fairway woods and irons while making longer approach shots easier to play. Each MacTec X Hybrid is supplied with a matching premium headcover and has an RRP: £99.99

Performance made simple
From the powerful titanium driver to the versatile fairway woods and forgiving hybrids, the MacTec X family has been engineered to deliver more distance, greater consistency and enhanced playability throughout the bag.
Combining proven technology, contemporary styling and outstanding value, the new MacTec X metalwoods demonstrate that reliable long-game performance doesn’t have to come with a premium price tag.
