DUNLOP GOLF EUROPE EXPANDS RETAIL SUPPORT TEAM

Dunlop Golf Europe has continued to strengthen its retailer support network with the appointment of Russ Berry as Area Sales Manager for Oxford and East England, following the recent addition of Jonathan Goodswen as Demo Representative for Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The latest appointments underline the company’s ongoing investment in supporting golf retailers through increased sales coverage, custom-fitting expertise and in-store product demonstrations as demand for Srixon, Cleveland Golf and XXIO equipment continues to grow.

Berry returns to Dunlop Golf Europe with extensive experience across golf retail, sales, custom fitting, club building and professional golf. Having previously spent more than three years with the business as a technical representative, he brings a strong understanding of the Srixon, Cleveland Golf and XXIO brands, alongside established relationships throughout the industry.

In his new role, Berry will work closely with retailers across Oxford and East England, providing commercial support, product expertise and fitting knowledge to help grow the three brands throughout the region.

“We are delighted to welcome Russ back to Dunlop Golf Europe,” said Gareth Taylor, Head of UK & Ireland Sales.

“Russ brings an outstanding level of product knowledge, fitting expertise and experience from across the golf industry. His understanding of our brands, combined with his strong relationships and commercial experience, will make him a valuable addition to the sales team.

“We remain committed to providing our retail partners with the highest possible level of support, and Russ will play an important role in helping us continue to grow Srixon, Cleveland Golf and XXIO throughout Oxford and East England.”

Berry began his PGA career in 2007 before becoming a fully qualified PGA Professional in 2010. He later spent six years as a Head Professional and has also worked in Tour support, sales, custom fitting and club building.

“I am extremely happy to be returning to Dunlop Golf Europe and excited to represent not just one, but three incredible brands,” said Berry.

“My priority will be to work closely with our retail partners, provide them with the support they need and help grow the territory for the benefit of both our customers and Dunlop Golf Europe as a whole.”

The appointment follows Dunlop Golf Europe’s recent expansion into Ireland and Northern Ireland, where Jonathan Goodswen has joined as Demo Representative. The newly created role reflects increasing demand for fitting experiences and product demonstrations, with Goodswen responsible for leading fitting events and providing additional technical support to retail partners across the region.

Together, the two appointments reinforce Dunlop Golf Europe’s commitment to investing in retailer support across the UK and Ireland, helping partners maximise sales opportunities through enhanced product knowledge, fitting expertise and customer engagement.
