David Lynn tees off at the US Masters wearing a Galvin Green shirt with the figure 400 on the collar to mark the number of European Tour appearances he has made since 1997. Lynn signed with Galvin Green to wear its high-performance clothing at the start of 2013 and led the Masters at one stage on his debut appearance twelve months ago shooting an impressive first round 68, including six birdies.
For the Masters opening round, Lynn has a Galvin Green Ventil8 Maxwell short sleeve shirt in Gunmetal/Spicy orange/Capri blue (RRP £89), embroidered with the 400 number in the hope that it will inspire him to an even better result at Augusta second time around.
Lynn finished second to Rory McIlroy in the 2012 US PGA Championship and had his best-ever season in 2013 with prize money of $1.6 million including his first European Tour victory in nine years at the Portugal Masters with a final round 63. He stated, “I’ve worn a lot of the leading brands, but Galvin Green is far ahead when it comes to high-performance golf clothing.”
