JORGE CAMPILLO CLAIMS THIRD DP WORLD TOUR TITLE WITH PARADYM DRIVER

Callaway’s new Paradym Driver claimed another victory on the DP World Tour when Staffer Jorge Campillo won his third DP World Tour title at the 2023 Magical Kenya Open.

Jorge’s dominant two-shot victory at Muthaiga Golf Club in Nairobi was secured by a classy -5 final round of 66, adding to a 69, 68 and a stunning third round of 63, for a -18 total.

The victorious 36-year-old said: “When you have your name on the same trophy as Seve (he won the title in 1978) it’s obviously more special for us Spaniards. It feels very good, it’s always nice to win a golf tournament.”

The Spaniard used the new Paradym Triple Diamond Driver (9°). It is a compact, 450cc shape designed for better players who want to work the ball. It’s the lowest spinning and lowest launching of three Paradym models, with a neutral ball flight.

His winning bag also included an Odyssey Toulon Le Mans Putter – Odyssey is the #1 Putter in Golf and the #1 Putter on Tour – and a quartet of Callaway JAWS MD5 Wedges.
Neil Howie, President and Managing Director of Callaway EMEA, commented: “This is a great win for Jorge and another impressive victory for the new Paradym Driver. To have so many #TeamCallaway Staffers enjoying tournament successes with our new technology underlines the difference it is making to their games.”

Now available in-store and online, the Paradym Driver has taken the DP World Tour and PGA Tour by storm. With Jorge’s win, it has claimed 10 victories since January.
