Grant and Vaughan lead changes to Sales team at Worldwide Golf Brands

Worldwide Golf Brands has announced that Steve Grant will move to the position of sales manager across all territories while BIG MAX and ZOOM sales agent Damien Vaughan will take on responsibilities for Stuburt and MacGregor in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The news follows the incorporation of European push trolley and golf bag market leader BIG MAX and innovative laser rangefinder and golf glove brand ZOOM into Worldwide Golf Brands’ portfolio of brands.

“Steve has been such an important part of our growth at WWGB, this promotion is worthy recognition of the importance he has to the business,” commented Graeme Stevens, Managing Director of WWGB. “Steve will help co-ordinate the activity of the sales team and will play an important role in the introduction of Damien Vaughan to the role of sales agent across all of Ireland, North and South. Damien has had great success with BIG MAX and ZOOM so it is great for us to bring him on board and have feet on the ground in the territory for all four brands.”

Grant’s promotion and the addition of Vaughan come as WWGB is set to move to a purpose built 120,000 sq ft facility just outside Manchester.  Following the addition of BIG MAX and ZOOM to WWGB’s portfolio of products and the imminent move, these two changes to key personnel are an important part of the company’s preparation for the next stage of growth, as Stevens concludes.

“It’s a really exciting time for WWGB. We’ve got a fantastic portfolio of brands, we’re investing in the infrastructure of the business and we’re looking to expand into new markets worldwide, but the foundation from which we do that is our core U.K. and Ireland business. With Steve taking on more responsibility and Damien bringing his experience across the island of Ireland, I’m very happy that we have the right people to help us continue to grow.”

Damien will add responsibility for sales of MacGregor and Stuburt to BIG MAX, and ZOOM with immediate effect. All enquiries should be directed to damien@inspiredsports.ie
