Golf and business mix at Moor Allerton charity event

Moor Allerton Golf Club near Leeds is staging a Golf and Business Festival from 25 to 27 May. The event is being organised by the golf club’s newly-founded charitable foundation, The Moor Allerton Charitable Foundation and profits will be donated to a range of charities including The Golf Foundation and The Tour Players Foundation.

The weekend will include a Tour Professional golfers and Yorkshire celebrities golf tournament featuring past Ryder cup players Paul Broadhurst and Paul Way and current players from the tours. Geoffrey Boycott and Paul Hudson are two of the many celebrities who will be playing. Two trips to the Masters at Augusta in 2015 are on offer for the winning amateurs.

The event will feature guest speakers from the worlds of business and sport; an exhibition featuring golfing products and Yorkshire suppliers; and a programme of family events. Confirmed exhibitors so far include Nike, Blue Hawk Events, Dream Greens, National Club Golfer, Members of Give Back Works, Leeds Business Incubation Centres and Park Lane Enterprise Centre.
