DUCA DEL COSMA SUPPORTS KLM OPEN FOR FIFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Luxury golf shoe brand Duca del Cosma steps up its support for the KLM Open for the 5th year in a row when one of Europe’s oldest golf tournaments gets under way on the challenging Bernardus links course in Cromvoirt at the end of the month.

The Dutch-based brand continues its long-standing association with the DP World Tour event as the official footwear and clothing supplier, providing golf shoes and branded apparel to more than 1,500 officials and volunteers on site at the 103rd edition.

The brand’s involvement with the Dutch Open began in 2018 and includes prominent on- course displays, as well as a running a busy retail operation throughout tournament week. This includes offering spectators the chance to trial Duca del Cosma shoes at the event, which has always proved popular with the Dutch fans.

Duca del Cosma Brand Ambassadors Joost Luiten and Daan Huizing will be wearing the latest premium shoes from the SS23 and PRO SPIKE collections as the local favourites aim for a strong week on home soil. Luiten will be looking to add to his two KLM Open titles captured in 2013 and 2016, while Huizing will be hoping to capture his first DP World Tour title following a career-best season in 2022.

Duca del Cosma was founded in Italy in 2004 by Baldovino Mattiazzo, who still designs the distinctive collections for men and women golfers. Since 2016, the company has been reinvigorated by Frank van Wezel and his wife Caroline to now see its shoes sold in 46 different countries worldwide.
