Callaway has strengthened its Tour roster with the signing of Norwegian rising star Michael Mjaaseth as its latest Staff Professional.
The 23-year-old joins Team Callaway following an impressive amateur career in Europe and the United States and will play a full bag of Callaway and Odyssey equipment as he begins the next stage of his professional career.
Mjaaseth established himself as one of Norway’s leading young golfers with victories at the European Young Masters and French International Boys Championship, while also winning the Norwegian National Championship twice as an amateur.
During his collegiate career at Arizona State University, Mjaaseth added victory at the Maui Jim Individual and was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. His performances also earned him selection for the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup and multiple All-America honours.
Mjaaseth made his debut as a Callaway Staff Professional on the DP World Tour at the Danish Golf Championship, putting an interesting new equipment set-up into competition.
At the top of the bag, the Norwegian uses a 10.5° Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond driver alongside an 11.5° Quantum Mini Driver. His blended iron set comprises an Apex Ti 3-iron, X Forged Max 4-6 irons and Apex MB blades from 7-iron through pitching wedge.
Three Opus SP Raw wedges and an Odyssey Proto putter complete the set-up, with Mjaaseth playing Callaway’s Chrome Tour golf ball.
