BRAMSHAW GOLF CLUB APPOINT JON FLEET AS HEAD PROFESSIONAL

Jon Fleet will be joining Bramshaw Golf Club as its Head PGA Professional from February 1st 2024.

Fleet began his coaching career in Spain under the mentorship of European Tour coach Jason Floyd before joining the professional team at Reading Golf Club. He’s coached golfers ranging from those at the very beginning of their golfing journey to former Swiss amateur number one, Marc Dobias. Jon currently coaches Ladies European Tour player, Gabriella Cowley.

Molly Pavey, General Manager at Bramshaw Golf Club said: “We’re delighted that Jon will be joining the team and leading our Professional department. We had a very specific criteria in mind for what we wanted from our new Head Professional, and Jon ticks all the boxes with his experience of coaching and golf club environments.

With our new swing studio opening in the coming weeks, Jon will be able to combine his expertise with state of the art technology to help our members release their golfing potential. We’re really excited for what the future holds,” Molly continued.

Jon echoed Molly’s comments and believes the ambition on display at Bramshaw is one of the reasons he was drawn to the role. He said: “I can’t wait to join the team at Bramshaw Golf Club. The vision outlined to me by Molly, was instrumental in my decision to join the journey the club is on. The passion the members have for the club gave me the confidence that Bramshaw was the right choice as my new home.

I strongly believe that when you play better golf, you enjoy it far more and that is the main aim of any golfer. I’m looking forward to focussing on getting our members’ games into fantastic shape for the new season.”
