Breakthrough Golf Technology (BGT), the company behind the Stability shaft, has launched the Paradox™ putter, a model it says is the only one engineered with Swing Balance Technology™, designed to help the clubhead fight to stay square during the stroke.
“Every putt tells you something – from the softest touch to your hardest roll,” said Barney Adams, CEO of Breakthrough Golf. “Paradox locks in centre strikes, so you’re dialling in distance control with every roll. Because in putting, nothing matters more.”

Unlike traditional zero-torque designs, which remain balanced only at rest, the Paradox has been engineered to stay balanced in motion. By positioning weight low in the heel and high in the toe, its Principal Axis alignment is intended to work with a golfer’s natural stroke, reducing unwanted rotation and improving consistency.
BGT reports that in testing, the Paradox produced more made putts, with misses finishing 10% closer to the hole, and a ball achieving a true roll 20% faster. The weighting is also said to promote consistent centre contact for improved distance control.
The putter’s construction combines a CNC-milled aluminium frame with steel weights and a precision-milled face to promote a smooth roll. It is centre-shafted to encourage a straight-back, straight-through stroke and fitted with a midsize non-taper grip. Adjustable loft and lie options are available, with 3° loft and 70° lie as standard.

Two head shapes are offered: a 355 g blade with a traditional profile and minimal onset, and a 365 g mallet with a refined fanged design for alignment. The Paradox can be fitted with either a stock graphite shaft or BGT’s Stability™ Tour Shaft, designed to reduce torque and minimise shaft deflection while delivering a solid, responsive feel.

The Paradox putter is available in 33″, 34″ and 35″ lengths. UK RRP is £499 (€585) with graphite shaft or £699 (€820) with Stability Tour Shaft.
