Bettinardi Golf Signs LPGA Rising Stars Muni He and Albane Valenzuela

Bettinardi Golf, precision-milled putter manufacturer and inventor of one-piece putter technology, is excited to announce their official partnerships with rising LPGA Tour stars, Muni He (China) and Albane Valenzuela (Switzerland).

After four career amateur showings on the LPGA Tour, He, 21, qualified for the LPGA Tour in 2019 to begin her professional career. She made 9 cuts in her 2019 season and signed with Bettinardi Golf to start the 2020 season to become a part of their Tour staff. Muni He is also renowned for her large platform on social media and fashion influence.

Muni will be using her Bettinardi DASS QB8 Mid-Slant Tour Dept. putter, competing this weekend in the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open, following her participation in the return of the LPGA Tour at the Marathon Classic last weekend after a lengthy delay to the LPGA season with the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m very excited to join the Bettinardi family. The putter gives me great confidence on the greens and hoping that I could bring out my best game for the rest of the season with the support of the Bettinardi team,” He said.

Albane Valenzuela, 22, began her rookie season on the LPGA Tour this year, after an impressive showing at Stanford University, where she was awarded Pac-12 Women’s Golfer of the Year, WGCA and Golfweek First Team All-American, First-Team All-Pac 12 and was an ANNIKA Award finalist. She also represented Switzerland in the 2016 Olympics and was a two-time runner up in the U.S. Women’s Amateur.

Valenzuela will be using an INOVAI 6.0 Tour Dept. putter to compete in the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open as well.

”I am thrilled to partner with Bettinardi Golf as I begin my professional career. The company’s technology, craftsmanship and attention to detail give me the confidence that I will be competing with the best putters in my bag. The ability to work with Bettinardi’s designers to customize a putter that optimizes my stroke will be a huge asset for me.”

Muni He and Albane Valenzuela join a growing lineup of other successful LPGA players, including Annie Park (U.S.), who signed with Bettinardi in late 2019 and is entering her second season on the LPGA Tour after a successful Solheim Cup appearance, and China’s No. 2 player, Yu Liu.

“My father and I are proud to have such talented players representing Bettinardi Golf on the LPGA,” Sam Bettinardi, Vice President said. “Both Muni and Albane have already shown great success on and off the course and will be great additions to the Bettinardi family. We are thrilled to invest and expand our LPGA Tour staff in 2020 and beyond.”

Over the weekend, Bettinardi Golf had two top-10 finishes at the Marathon Classic in Ohio, including Yu Liu who finished T5 at -8 for the tournament.
