Tried & tested: EzeGlide Trolleys

    RRP £199.00

As someone who isn’t particularly handy, I was pleasantly surprised at how straightforward it was to assemble. All I had to do was attach the wheels, and I managed that without any major issues.

The trolley I tested had a unique spring loaded folding mechanism that worked remarkably smoothly. Unlike some cube-style trolleys I’ve seen, it was easy to put down and set up with the opening of just one clip.

This trolley was a bit different from the ones I’m used to in our shop. We usually focus on the EzeGlide Cruiser, which is priced at £99 and folds flat with removable wheels. I’ve sold a lot of those over the years.

We’ve found that offering both the £199 trolley and the £99 EzeGlide Cruiser gives customers choices that suit their preferences and budgets.

As for any extra features, the trolley I tested had space for an umbrella attachment, although you needed to purchase that separately. It also had compartments in the handle, which seemed versatile for storing small items like your phone, tees, or snacks.

I took it for a spin, and it was effortless to push. The handle height was just right, and it felt sturdy and durable. It did remind me a bit of a Clicgear trolley.

When it comes to color options, I’ve noticed that black tends to be the most popular choice among customers because it’s versatile and matches any golf bag. While other colours are available, black seems to be the go-to option for many buyers.

Overall, the trolley I tested left a positive impression. It seemed well-made, and I didn’t encounter any major issues while using it. It’s a great addition to our range of golf equipment, offering customers more options to choose from based on their preferences and budgets.

    EzeGlide Compact +
    RRP £185.00

I received the EzeGlide Compact Plus in black with luminous green accents, and it’s not a trolley we typically stock. In the past, I’ve carried various trolleys from bigger brands, but have had so many problems with them. When it comes to assembling the EzeGlide Compact Plus, it was straightforward. Like many trolleys, it required attaching the wheels, which was easy enough. The only challenge for me was figuring out the specific sequence for opening and closing it, but that’s a common issue with trolleys that have different mechanisms. Once you get the hang of it, it’s not a problem.

In terms of size when folded, it’s quite compact and fits nicely in the boot of a car. It’s not as flat as some trolleys, but it’s still manageable and doesn’t take up too much space.
On the golf course, it performed excellently. It was easy to manoeuvre and it lived up to its ‘EzeGlide ‘ name. I didn’t have any trouble with bags of different sizes; it accommodated them well.

    RRP £199.00
Assembling this trolley was an absolute breeze. It literally took just seconds. All it needed were the wheels, and that was it – quick and easy.
When it came to folding it, that was a piece of cake too. It has a button in the middle that you push, and the whole thing folds down effortlessly. It’s so stable and easy to work with; some other trolleys can be a real hassle.

On the course, it handled beautifully. Our fairways are quite undulated, but this trolley remained solid and easy to steer. You could glide it along without breaking a sweat, just as you’d expect from an EzeGlide. It’s a joy to use.

As for extras, it comes with a an umbrella holder, cup holder, a ball pouch, and a scorecard holder. Considering that some trolleys charge extra for a brolly holder, this is a nice bonus.
I also tried it with different bags, including larger ones, and it accommodated them all comfortably. You can adjust the strapping to fit your bag securely, and there’s even a plastic toggle that tightens down to ensure any bag stays in place.

Now, regarding the model we stock, this is the new one, and it’s an excellent addition to our range. It’s a cost-effective option, which is why I decided to carry it. It does the job just as well as the higher-priced models we offer, and it’s £100 cheaper than the top-end trolley we used to stock. There isn’t much of a difference in performance, but there’s a significant difference in price.

Now, regarding its price point, it falls within the range of £150 to £200, which is where I believe it belongs. While it’s not the cheapest option, it’s also not as expensive as some other models on the market. In terms of features and performance, I don’t feel like I’m losing out by not paying more. It’s a fully featured product that competes well with higher-priced trolleys.

When it comes to customer satisfaction and returns, I haven’t had any issues with EzeGlide trolleys so far. It’s been a more reliable choice in that regard compared to some other brands I’ve stocked in the past.

In conclusion, the EzeGlide Compact Plus is a solid trolley that fits its price point well, performs admirably on the golf course, and has been relatively trouble-free in terms of customer returns or complaints. It’s a competitive option in the push trolley market.
