NEW BALANCE GOLF KICKS OFF THE NEW SEASON

A comprehensive golf shoe collection from the iconic sports brand is soon to be introduced to golfers across the UK. Here’s what stockists can expect from a distinctive product line up designed to kick start sales for the 2024 season.

New Balance is set to give its retail stockists a profitable sales boost next season, with innovative designs and new technology at the heart of a widely anticipated SS24 range of attractive golf shoes in a variety of standout styles and colourways…and with more to follow later in the year.

Available from exclusive UK distributor Brand Fusion International, the trend-setting brand is introducing a host of proven performance benefits to empower golfers to play at their best and walk the fairways in fashionable style. The strong sporting heritage of New Balance ensures that many golfers will want to know more about its step into golf and what lines they can try out among the initial 11 new models available, including four Spiked shoes and four women’s styles.

“The encouragingly high level of pre-orders suggests that retailers can see the special quality that New Balance brings to the golf shoe marketplace, especially among the younger generation of golfers,” said Nigel Freemantle, Managing Director of Brand Fusion. “It’s a brand that’s so well respected for its standing in other sports and we believe it will make a real impact once golfers see them out on the course or try them on in the Pro Shop. These shoes are the real deal and a genuinely exciting sales opportunity not to be missed in 2024,” he added.

    PERFECT FIT
According to Alex Whittal, Managing Director at The Gloucester Golf Centre, taking on the New Balance range for the first time was an easy decision.

“We see lots of people wearing New Balance trainers around the golf centre which shows there is already a strong demand for the brand’s products. It was a no-brainer to become a New Balance stockist as the brand has such a strong heritage of manufacturing top-quality footwear,” he said.

A similar view was expressed by Head Professional at the Forest of Dean GC, Stuart Jenkins. “Our membership base is quiet young and a lot our customers wear New Balance trainers, so it was an easy decision to stock some of the SS24 styles. We’re very much an on and off-course venue and the New Balance range fits us perfectly,” he said.

    WATERPROOF WARRENTY

    997 Spiked

Headlining the extensive range is the 997 Spiked model, with a waterproof microfibre leather upper and Absorb®10mm drop midsole that provides lightweight cushioning and exceptional responsiveness. The Ndurance rubber outsole is designed to deliver traction and stability, while responding to the natural motion of the golfer’s foot. The ultra-soft CUSH+® insole provides instant comfort thanks to a revolutionary insole foam compound. The shoe comes with a one-year waterproof warranty
and FastTwist 3.0 removable Pulsar cleats. Available in striking White/Navy.

The 997 SL Spikeless model offers many of the same features as the Spiked version, while coming in three colourways – White/Navy, Grey/Navy & Grey/Orange.

Among the other spikeless waterproof styles is the 574 Greens V2 shoe. Available in four colourways – Wheat, Navy/Gum, White/Navy & Light Grey – the 574 model has a distinctive Dynasoft® 10mm drop midsole that provides lightweight plush comfort and an ultra-responsive walking experience.

    CLOUD LIKE FEEL
The ‘smart’ rubber spikeless outsole of the Fresh Foam Contend V2 shoe features exclusive geometric shapes that vary in size and shape and highlighted by pressure mapping colours in the key performance zones. Along with an innovative 10mm drop Fresh Foam® midsole, the result is greater cushioning and a cloud-like feel, along with perimeter stability to support the foot during the rotational forces of the golf swing. The breathable mesh upper, with ultra-light FantomFit® water guard protection from the elements, is matched with the ultra-soft CUSHK+® insole for maximum comfort. The shoe comes in White/Black, Black/Multi & White/Navy options.

& 13.5 for men; as well as UK 4-9 for women.

Standout POS material for promoting the new range is available from Brand Fusion on request and next-day delivery can be fulfilled from its warehouse facilities in Oldbury.

Product reviews of the flagship shoes will be appearing in the specialist golf media early next year, along with online and social media support.
