
Foremost Golf recently hosted its annual Winter Conferences, drawing more than 200 member professionals from across the country. Senior members of the leadership team travelled across the UK to host seven educational and informative events, which have become a cornerstone of the Foremost community, fostering collaboration and education in the world of golf retail.
The conferences allowed the team at Foremost to spend time engaging with members, presenting the latest updates on their new Foremost POS system, and delivering retail education on key areas that will assist members with their businesses as they prepare for 2025.
In addition to introducing the Foremost POS system, the conferences discussed key areas critical to the success of Foremost members. Sessions delved into the current retail climate and the opportunities that are available to green grass retailers if they are managing the fundamentals well. This includes buying smarter by working to a plan, focusing on margin and embracing a professional custom fitting model. Another important focus was empowering professionals to harness insights from the EMP (Elite Marketing Programme), enabling members to better understand and cater to the needs of their customer base, whilst driving home their point of difference over their competition.
The conferences encompassed an eighteen-month development journey that led to the rollout of Foremost POS. They allowed fellow Foremost professionals to engage with one another whilst taking away key services and advice from the Foremost management team to ensure they are capitalising in 2025 and beyond. The Foremost team also launched their new ticketing and signage system ‘ForeSignage’ which provides the members a ‘one-stop shop’ for all their signage and ticketing needs. The Group’s Exclusive Line product portfolio for 2025 was also shared with members, including new category entries in both balls and gloves.
