Syngenta supports SSE Women’s Invitational

Golf industry leader Syngenta is supporting the third annual SSE Women’s Invitational, which takes place at Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club on May 17.

The business and golf event, which is focused on gender parity and breaking down barriers, brings together more than 100 predominantly female executives to network and enjoy the benefits of a golf day.

Syngenta Golf Ambassador, Carin Koch, will be among the speakers from the worlds of business and sport during the morning conference. The former LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour winner will also participate in the afternoon’s golf activities, which will feature love.golf, the award-winning coaching programme for women, supported by Syngenta.

Carin Koch said: “The SSE Women’s Invitational is an excellent example of bringing business and sport together to drive diversity and inclusion, both in the workplace and on the golf course. A golf day is a perfect way to network and develop relationships and I’m looking forward to joining some of the new players out on the course enjoying their first taste of this wonderful game with love.golf.”

Syngenta, a leading supplier of innovative turfcare solutions to courses, is investing in golf from the ground up. Its campaign, ‘Unlocking Golf’s True Potential,’ is focused on the long-term business sustainability of golf courses and the economic opportunity to increase female participation, worth a potential $35 billion a year to the global golf industry.
