Xander Schauffele wins at Travelers with closing birdie playing Callaway

Xander Schauffele captured his sixth PGA Tour title on Sunday, winning the Travelers Championship by two strokes.

Heading into the final round at TPC River Highlands with the 54-hole lead, Xander was on fire with his Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver, averaging over 313 yards.

A phenomenal tee shot down the last, followed by a tidy wedge shot left a short birdie putt for the Olympic Gold Medalist, which he made no mistake with.

Speaking to the media following his victory, Xander said: “It feels really good. Everyone talks about how hard it is, and I only had the Olympics to sort of fall back on having a [54-hole] lead and kind of closing it. I’ve never done it on the PGA Tour. … I mean to do it in Japan and then sort of have that experience, I really tapped into that today.”

Xander’s bag included one of Callaway’s new JAWS Raw Wedges, 18 of which were in play during the tournament.
