Worldwide Golf Brands brings ZOOM sales in-house, for Scotland and the South of England

Leading golf distribution company Worldwide Golf Brands (WWGB) has re-structured sales for award winning Laser Rangefinder and golf glove brand ZOOM, by bringing responsibility for the Scotland and South of England territories under its in-house sales team.

Following the successful appointment of Grahame Laird as area sales manager in Scotland for Oscar Jacobson, Stuburt and MacGregor in July 2021, WWGB has added ZOOM products to his portfolio of products. In a similar move, new appointment Ryan Bodkin, who has recently taken over WWGB apparel brands for the South of England from Kent to Hampshire, will also represent ZOOM as WWGB looks to expand the reach of its award winning products.

“We’re delighted that Ryan and Grahame have added ZOOM to their portfolio of brands,” said Steve Grant, Sales Manager for Worldwide Golf Brands. “Grahame has done a first class job for us since coming on board in July and while Ryan is brand new to the team, covering the south of England, ZOOM will give him a diversity of products that will really help him get off to a flying start. ZOOM has huge potential with its one-size gloves and award winning lasers, so I’m really excited to have it represented in these two key areas by our employed sales team.”

ZOOM has grown quickly as a brand, winning accolades for its one-size glove range before making a huge impact with its Laser Rangefinders. It’s first Laser, the Focus X, was named Golf Monthly’s #1 Laser for 2020 and then won the Today’s Golfer Editor’s Choice award in 2021. The ZOOM flagship model, Focus Tour continued the success with a Golf Monthly Editor’s Choice award in 2021. Both models combined premium functionality with surprisingly affordable price points, something that the new Focus S will improve upon this year.

Grant concludes, “The Focus S takes all the best features of the Focus X and Tour and comes in at an incredible price point considering the number of features. It also looks great and does everything you could want from a premium Laser so I can’t wait to see what Grahame and Ryan can do to introduce the range of products to their customers and take the brand to the next level.”
