WORLD NO.1 WINS 6TH VICTORY OF 2024 IN SOFTSPIKES

Softspikes were once again at the forefront of proceedings on Sunday at The Travelers Championship with the World No.1, wearing his trusted Tour Flex Pro spikes, continuing his sheer dominance in 2024 with a record-equaling 6th PGA Tour win before the end of July.

Both the World No.1 and his playing partner, also wearing spiked footwear, finished 22-under-par after 72-holes to send it to a playoff up the 18th hole again. A par was enough to prove enough for the World No.1 to secure his 6th victory in the last 10 PGA Tour events.

The 28-year-old Texan becomes the 26th PGA Tour winner to do so wearing spikes in the last 28 PGA Tour events. He has also now won over $27.5 million this season. Outside of the winners’ circle it was another strong week for Softspikes with 54 of the top 69 finishers at The Travelers Championship choosing replaceable spikes over spikeless golf shoes.

On the PGA Tour Champions, the former two-time Irish Open Champion was triumphant at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open, and just like the World No.1 was powered to victory wearing Tour Flex Pro.

“The World No.1 is simply on another level right now and week-in-week-out he is putting his faith in the unrivaled performance, comfort and stability that Tour Flex Pro delivers in spades.” commented Joe Henderson, President, Softspikes.

Tour players change grips and traction regularly based on course conditions, but amateur golfers rarely think about the impact wearing spikes has on consistency and distance. To achieve optimal performance benefits, golfers should be switching up their spikes every 15 rounds.
