WORLD NO.1 CLAIMS 5TH VICTORY OF 2024 WEARING TOUR FLEX PRO

TOUR FLEX PRO

Softspikes® continued its impressive win streak on the PGA Tour on Sunday afternoon with the World’s No.1 golfer, once again at the top of the leaderboard, capturing a fifth PGA Tour victory of the season wearing his trusted Tour Flex Pro spikes in his Nike golf shoes.

In what were testing final round playing conditions, the season’s most dominant player had his struggles on Sunday, but eventually prevailed to claim a 1-shot victory over his nearest challenger who was also wearing replaceable spikes in his adidas golf shoes. The Texan becomes the 24th PGA Tour winner to do so wearing spikes in the last 26 PGA Tour events. He has also now won over $24 million this season. Finally, it was another strong week for Softspikes with 32 of the top 38 finishers at The Memorial Tournament choosing replaceable spikes over spikeless golf shoes.

On the DP World Tour, at the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed the winner shot a final round 65 to secure an incredible victory, coming from 11 shots back on Sunday to win the tournament for the second time wearing PINS spikes in her adidas golf shoes.

“To have the world’s best player dominating at the top of the game, wearing Tour Flex Pro is clear validation of the importance wearing spikes delivers in terms of unmatched traction and stability.” commented Joe Henderson, President, Softspikes.

Tour players change grips and traction regularly based on course conditions, but amateur golfers rarely think about the impact wearing spikes has on consistency and distance. To achieve optimal performance benefits, golfers should be switching up their spikes every 15 rounds.
