VENTUS VICTORY AT THE U.S. SENIOR OPEN

Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was proud to be the number one driver, wood and hybrid shaft at the U.S. Senior Open at Saucon Valley CC in Pennsylvania.

After their recent domination at the U.S. Open in Brookline, it was more of the same from Fujikura at the U.S. Senior Open. In a field of former major winners and iconic players, Fujikura once again claimed the number one spot for the driver, wood and hybrid shaft counts. In the driver shaft count, 36.5% of the field chose Fujikura. In the wood shaft count, 30.4% of the players used Fujikura with another 16.1% using a Fujikura hybrid shaft.

In an exciting Sunday showdown, the eventual winner and long-time Fujikura user trusted in our VENTUS to get the job done and seal his first Senior major title. Using the VENTUS Black 6X in his driver, the three-time major winner will be heading back to Ireland this week ready to play in his home country competition on the DP World Tour, the Horizon Irish Open.

Over on the PGA and LPGA Tour, Fujikura claimed the #1 spot for driver and wood shafts on both tours. At the Travelers Championship on the PGA Tour, a total of 29.3% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 26.3% using a Fujikura wood shaft. While on the LPGA Tour at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, 34.6% of the competitors chose to play a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 28.8% using a Fujikura wood shaft.
