Toulon Golf ‘soft’ launch the ’25 Collection across Europe

Toulon Golf, the premium, major-winning putter manufacturer, has unveiled its all-new ’25 putter collection. The collection was created with a single word in mind: ‘Soft.’ Soft in look, soft in sound, and soft in feel. For the first time, the collection will be available at retailers across Europe.

The Beauty of Soft

Every existing Toulon Golf model has undergone a substantial redesign for the ’25 Collection, with five new models joining the line-up. Some changes to existing models are more noticeable, while others are more subtle.

Every radius has been reimagined, every edge rethought, and every top line refined to enhance the aesthetic and elevate performance.

The ’25 Collection features a new Anthracite finish. Deep in lustre, the finish was selected for both its playability and its ability to highlight the nuances of the softened designs. Mallets, with their larger surface areas, feature a light satin texture to eliminate glare, while the all-new Austin and Hollywood blades showcase the exquisite slow-milled process.

Final touches include a new Heritage Blue and White colour scheme, accented with Italian Racing Red on the grips, headcovers, and many of the new hosel designs. The ’25 Collection offers stunning looks from every angle.

The Joy of Feel

There is nothing quite like the satisfaction of a perfectly struck putt, especially from an expertly crafted milled putter. With no vibration, just the sensation of the golf ball melting into the putter face, the experience is unparalleled.

The goal for the ’25 Collection was to create a slightly softer feel, further rewarding a well-struck putt. Every aspect of putter design that contributes to vibration was studied, leading to modifications across the entire range—some subtle, others more substantial.

The material for the ’25 Collection is 304 SS, a softer steel that machines and finishes beautifully while enhancing feel. Face thicknesses have been adjusted across models to refine and soften the impact sensation.

Most notably, a new face milling pattern has been introduced. The Deep Tuna Face Mill is slightly deeper than in the ’24 Collection, complemented by the Small Tuna over-mill.

The Significance of Sound

While sound and feel are often considered synonymous, Toulon Golf believes sound plays a crucial role in modern club design—particularly in putters. Beyond aesthetics, sound influences a golfer’s ability to control distance, and the auditory feedback of a putter should correlate with its actual impact ratio.

Creating World-Class Performance

Many of the factors that influence feel also impact sound. The objective remained to subtly soften the experience.

The new face mill pattern was designed with a similar approach to a car tire tread—just as tire patterns channel water and debris to create optimal contact, the putter face channels vibration and frequency to enhance acoustics. By controlling the amount of sound detected by the golfer’s lead ear, the design creates a quieter, softer perceived feel.

The final element in achieving peak performance was harmonising feel, sound, and resulting ball speed. The new mill pattern works in tandem with the overall design to produce a controlled, consistent, and rewarding putting experience.
