Titleist Named Official Bag Supplier of European Ryder Cup Team Until 2025

Titleist has announced an exciting new partnership as Official Team Supplier to the European Ryder Cup Team that will see it supply golf bags for all 12 of Captain Padraig Harrington’s charges when the contest get under way at Whistling Straits in September.

In an agreement that will see the manufacturer work with the European side through the next three biennial contests, up to and including at Bethpage Black in 2025, it will place Titleist’s industry-leading golf bags at the forefront of the game’s premier team contest.

Based on the current Titleist Tour Bag, but sporting the now iconic blue, white and gold of Europe, each player can take comfort in the attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship that has gone into producing this latest team bag – as is the case with every product Titleist engineers.

Pádraig Harrington, European Ryder Cup Captain, said: As European Captain, it is my job to make sure the players have everything they need to play their best across three days of intense competition, and I am confident in the quality this latest team bag provides. Not only that, but it looks great too, so I cannot wait for each player to receive theirs – it is always a special moment.”

When they arrive in Wisconsin later this year, the European team will hope to pick up where it left off at Le Golf National in 2018, where Thomas Bjørn’s men ran out 17.5-10.5 winners in France to claim their fourth victory in the previous five matches.

David Moore, Titleist Gear Product Manager, EMEA, said: We are excited to announce this new partnership with the European Ryder Cup Team and hope to play our own special part in any success they achieve in the coming matches.  Not only will the new bag benefit from the premium materials and industry-leading features and benefits that set our Tour Bag apart, but it is also a fantastic endorsement of the quality golfers across the world can expect from Titleist’s range of industry leading products.”
