Titleist crowned #1 club brand at the 2019 World Golf Awards

Titleist has reaffirmed its position as one of golf’s most iconic and successful brands as it was named the ‘World’s Best Golf Club Brand’ at this year’s World Golf Awards.

The award recognises Titleist’s commitment to create the best performing golf clubs for every golfer, from grass roots level to the top of the game. It follows on from the recent launch of the highly anticipated T-Series Irons, TS Hybrids and U-Series Utility Irons – all of which have proved immensely popular on the global professional tours.

Most notably, the new T100 Irons were immediately put in play by Titleist Brand Ambassador, Jordan Spieth, while the 620 CB/MB irons helped Brand Ambassador Bernd Wiesberger claim victory at the Italian Open this month. Not only was that his third victory of the season, but it has also seen the Austrian take top spot on the European Tour’s Race to Dubai rankings.

This achievement comes at a time when Titleist golf clubs are seeing unprecedented levels of success across the major worldwide tours. At the recent Amundi Open de France, Titleist was the #1 choice in the Golf Ball (69%), Driver (30%), Fairway Wood (30%), Hybrid (34%), Utility Iron (49%), Iron (33%) and Wedge (44%) categories.

‘The World’s Best Golf Club Brand’ award was contested by several of the game’s best equipment brands and judged by a panel of industry experts to determine the industry’s number one.

On receiving the award, Michael Creighton, Titleist Brand Director – UK Region, said: “It is a huge honour for the brand to be recognised as ‘World’s Best Golf Club Brand’ and is a testament to the brand’s pursuit of excellence across all the golf club categories. This year has been a busy year for the brand, with the introduction of new Scotty Cameron Phantom putters, as well as brand new irons, hybrids & utilities – these new innovative products to the market have been a catalyst for our success.”

In keeping with Titleist’s dedication to help every golfer find the best-performing equipment for them, they continue to offer a comprehensive 2019 golf ball and club fitting schedule, which includes more than 1,500 events across the UK & Ireland.
