The UK Golf Federation memebership continues to grow

The UK Golf Federation membership continues to grow as it fly’s past 900 members.

Through the difficult times for the golf industry during the Corvid crisis the UK Golf Federation has seen its membership continue to grow. Clearly the support and advice given to its members has been well received and the good news of the UK Golf Federation’s support services has obviously travelled fast! This is not the only benefit of membership that excites though! Access to 13 free business support services are available to members that cover just about every key area of the day to day operation of a golf facility, saving both money and time. The website is also a valuable asset to membership, where members golf facilities are available for the golfing public to check-out locations and venues and click links to make tee and society reservations, a real business opportunity.

Doug Poole – CEO commented “The Federation is now fully national with members spread across England, Scotland, Wales and NI & I, its work through governments APPG has been invaluable to keeping golf open, safe for customers and enabling our members to keep their businesses open for play. Our initiatives and support along with our benefits of membership programme have helped our members and the golf industry in these challenging times”.

More information on membership is available on the UK Golf Federation website www.ukgolffederation.com where savings of £1,000 on services can be found (T&C’s apply) and it is quick and easy for new members to join.

The UKGF is a not-for-profit organisation now with over 900 member facilities whose aims are to represent and support the interests of proprietary, and operator commercial golf courses and driving ranges in the UK. It takes a key role in providing leadership in discussions with Government and golf’s governing bodies on all matters that impact commercially minded golf facilities. The Federation has a programme of benefits and opportunities for its members to enable them to understand and develop their business. Its mission is to “grow golf participation through open access golf facilities and grow the bottom line”.
